Oh my, tonite will be the last tarawih for this Ramadhan. In the past years, I always looked forward to Ramadhan’s ending. But not this year. Is it because I’ve become more dedicated to Ramadhan’s ritual? Not entirely true if I may say.
Last year I spent the whole Ramadhan abroad. I kinda miss the atmosphere of this holy month. Being the only one in class who didn’t have lunch, no one to accompany me for tarawih, breaking my fast alone with no one beside me, having sahur without my family, etc, etc. Practically I did my fasting ritual but emotionally I didn’t experience Ramadhan at all.
Now that I’ve finally meet again with Ramadhan, a month just doesn’t seem to be enough for me. I still miss this atmosphere, this feeling, this environment.
