My last week in Copenhagen. My last week in Europe. A new semester in NTU has already started this week actually. So, I’m practically missing out my first week of the new semester in my home uni.

It’s been a fun month for me here. Managed to travel to alot of cities and countries … Sweden, Amsterdam, Brussel, Oslo, Paris, Berlin … it was good … it was fun :)

Although i find it quite amazing that I actually learn more stuff out-of-class instead of in-the-class. The classes here in Copenhagen … well, i have to say that it’s not that good. The way the class is run doesnt exactly meet my expectation. Classes in NTU are far way better with all the class discussion and the case studies. That’s why I can effort to skip some of my classes here in Copenhagen ;p

When I travel to a certain city, I tried to learn the hidden facts that lies behind the city’s history. Like why they have church right in the middle of Amsterdam’s red light district (for a redemption place for the sailor to confess their sin to after "enjoying" a night with the ladies of the red-light district), how the Eiffel tower was actually made to be able to be easily dis-assembled bcos it was only meant to be used for 20 years, how the Fall of Berlin Wall was actually caused by a simple mistake by Gunter Schabowski (back-then was the East German Minister of Propaganda), how Indonesia played a major contribution to the birth of Capitalism by being a "very BIG profit making cattle" for VOC (the first corporation ever to issue shares in the world), etc, etc.

I also experience the "cathedral-palace-and-museum-fatigue" where I have reach my limit in enjoying the magnificent architectures of the cathedrals and palaces here and also the beautiful art collection of the existing museums because i’ve seen too much of them lately.

Well anyway, have to get back to my project now which I have to hand-in next week for the completion of my study here in Copenhagen. Hopefully, I can go back to Europe again one day and do another Eurotrip :)
